This is a safari that combines both bird watching at the Great Rift Valley Lakes and wildlife safaris in Masai Mara National Reserve, Amboseli National Park, and the splendid Aberdare National Park. This is a unique safari with minimal driving distances hence it is ideal for all ages. Visit the iconic Treetop Lodge which is famed for hosting queen Elizabeth on the night she slept as a princess and woke up as a queen after the death of her father. Here you can enjoy wildlife including the big 5 right in your bed or at the balcony of your room.
The highlight will be at Masai Mara where you will enjoy the 8th world wonder; wildebeest migration an event that happens from end of June to October. During this period you will be lucky to witness wildebeest as they cross Mara River where crocodiles wait to devour them while lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas and wild dogs wait by the banks for their turn of an easy meal.
Located in the Aberdare National Park, the Treetops Lodge Nyeri Tree-House Lodge on stilts is famous as the place where Queen Elizabeth II visited as a princess and left as queen. Originally built in 1932, Treetops Lodge lies in the path of an ancient Elephant migratory route between the Aberdare Ranges and Mt Kenya National Park. It is strategically sited right in front of a natural watering hole and salt lick, making it the perfect place to view game. It is as much a part of nature as it has an ancient tree growing right through the hotel, with the lodge being built around it. It is the perfect fusion of nature and comfort sporting a rustic look that fits right into the Aberdares. Large windows have been fitted in all rooms and public areas to view game and there’s restaurant and lounge where guests can relax while taking in the sight of Elephants, Buffaloes, and plenty of other animals. There are plenty of awesome photo opportunities here as well.

Lake Nakuru’s fame is anchored on its flamingo’s and the over 400 species of birds found here. The lake itself is a soda lake on the floor of the Rift Valley. The sight of the at times millions of flamingos is quite spectacular. From a distance, the lake appears ringed in pink. The Lake has also earned a reputation as an important haven for endangered species- particularly the Rothschild Giraffe and the black and white rhino. Lions, waterbuck, buffalo, and baboons are all residents here.
