Our group of 4 had an AMAZING time with ACZ Safaris. John helped us pick the best options for our group and our driver Martin went above and beyond to make sure we got to see everything. We even got to see white rhinos! We got back to Nairobi early and John took us to see/feed the giraffes before our flight which was on my bucket list!

Actually I visited Jun 2016. I had amazing experience with ACZ safari. I join the 2nights camp by myself. Martin, our guide was super good! He showed us great safari. He taught us many many things about animals. It was just AMAZING. John from ACZ safari was very helpful. He gave me suggestions and taught me where to see. I definitely recommend ACZ safari. Even for solo, it was really fun and nothing to worried.

The safari was the most memorable experience of our lives so far. John was our driver and he was very friendly and shared his knowledge of Nairobi, Masai Mara, the people and the culture. He shared the plan for the next drive/day/adventure and always asked if that was ok with us or if we wanted to change. We also had a great group that we went on safari with. Not once did I hear anyone upset about any experience they had with ACZ. We were lucky and had only 6 people on our tour,
After getting quotes from 10+ travel agencies, I went with ACZ because Joshua was very prompt and professional with communication from inquiry to booking. Pricing was comparable/competitive with other agencies.
I joined a 3-day Masai Mara Group Safari in February 2018, staying at Mara Sopa Lodge and it was the trip of a lifetime! Francis was our driver and guide throughout. He was alway smiling and making his best effort to make our trip enjoyable. We were incredibly lucky to see the big 5: a black rhino, leopard, cheetah, lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, hippos, zebras, gazelles, impalas – and many up close! Nothing could have prepared me for the breathtaking beauty of the Masai Mara. Francis knows everyone in and around the park.
Note that the drive from Nairobi to the Masai Mara is 5 hours, the last 2-3 of which are on unpaved/bumpy road. A new road is currently in construction (finished by end of 2018?). The all-day game drive is quite long (~10 hours) and you are in the van the entire time except for lunch and bathroom breaks. The Mara Sopa lodge was great, comfortable rooms with delicious food. We also visited the Masai Village – they naturally get many tourist visitors but I found it to be a very informative and memorable visit, learning about their culture and way of life.
Overall, I can’t recommend enough ACZ, this won’t be my last time to the Masai Mara, I highly recommend it!

John was my guide on my week-end trip in Hell’Gate national park and Naivasha lake. The trip was well organized and John was very attentive and arranging. I will definitely call ACZ again for my next trip to East Africa.
Amazing Experience
We booked our 3 day trip with John from ACZ Safaris. He was very prompt with questions we had for the trip. They had 3 accommodation options with basic camping at Lenchada Camp, Jambo Mara Safari Lodge for mid range and Mara Sopa for high end. We chose the mid range option and were not disappointed. John informed us there is a daily trip to the Mara and were flexible with our dates. We met Joshua from ACZ on the morning of our trip. He introduced is to Evans Ngige our Driver and Tour Guide for the trip. We got the BEST. We stopped at Great Rift Valley View Point for a break and Narok for lunch. The drive from Narok to the Mara is very rough and dusty. Be well prepared. We left Nairobi at 9 and arrived in camp at 1530hrs. Went for an evening game drive and saw a pride of Lions and other regulars. Our next morning started at 0400hrs as we decided to do the Hot Air Balloon ride. It costs USD 450 pp. It was well worth it and was one of our Bucketlist items. The ride is an hour long. We saw sunrise in the air and saw lots of Elephants and the only Hyenas during the trip. We landed 50 metres from a herd of Elephants. Super cool. We’ll do it again for sure. We had a bush breakfast with Champagne afterwards. The Captain Gena sold is a flash drive with go pro footage of our ride for Ksh. 4000.Well worth it. We linked up with Evans and our group and continued with our game drive. We saw a pride of Lions, 2 Leopards, Hippos, Buffalos, Cheetahs and all the prey
I highly recommend ACZ Safari. The customer service and prices were excellent. Josh who coordinated my trip always had a quick response answering all of my many questions. Robert our tour guide and driver was just amazing. He was an excellent driver even on some of the rough bumpy roads he always made us feel safe. I arrived towards the very end of the migration and he made sure all of us were going to see it. In addition, he wouldn’t stop until we all saw what we came to see. We were able to see lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes and so much more.

From the beginning, ACZ Safaris was the best at communicating with us. They replied quickly and made sure to answer every single question that I emailed to them. Even before they booked, Joshua shared their phone number and address so that we had multiple ways to communicate with each other. Whether it was through email or Whatsapp, I always received a timely and informative answer. They made us feel very comfortable about booking with them because they were also transparent and would give us various options especially with payment.

The food was great and we appreciated getting a vegetable with each meal. The food was “simple” but very flavorful. I strongly recommend booking with ACZ.
