Pick up from your hotel/residence at 7:00am, leave Nairobi and drive toward central Kenya to arrive at Naro Moru River Lodge around 9:30am. You will take your packed lunch and start the hiking right away.
Naro Moru River Lodge is set in the Shadow of Mt. Kenya’s Majestic Slopes and is a unique Cabin Eco Lodge that is a perfect destination to offer different routes to the mountain’s majestic peaks, point Lenana, Batian and Nelion an enthralling adventure-wise as they are scenic. The lodge was originally a farm house taken over by Alliance Hotels in 1978.
Naro Moru River Lodge occupies over 70 acres and is located east of the Rift Valley. Mt. Kenya lies about 140 km North-East of Nairobi just 2 ½ hour’s drive from the capital, with its Northern flanks across the Equator.
Naro Moru River lodge, is built on the banks of the snow fed Naro Moru River which flows through the hotel grounds. Later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast drive down the escarpment via the floor of the Great Rift Valley and arrive at Lake Nakuru, Flamingo Hill Camp in time for lunch. After lunch start game drives in this park where you will be welcomed by the Columbus Monkeys which has become friendly to the travelers though sometimes they may become unfriendly when denied to access in your car. Note we are not allowed to feed them. After the short game drive proceed on to the Hotel for Lunch. After lunch you will proceed for another afternoon game drive which will take you until 1830hrs where you will return to the hotel for dinner and overnight at Flamingo Hill Luxury Tented Camp.
After breakfast start game viewing at Lake Nakuru National Park, where you will have a chance to visit a unique sanctuary catering for a sizable number of the endangered rhinoceros and the Rothschild giraffe. Water bucks as well as the predators such as the lion and leopard are common at the park. Also to be seen is a myriad different variety of bird life in and around the lake. Flamingos are also plenty at the lake. Leave for Nairobi late afternoon arriving in Nairobi in the evening with a drop off to the hotel of your choice or back to the airport to catch up with your flight for the next destination.
