5 Days Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru & Naivasha Classic Camping Safari

Pick up from your hotel at 08:00am then proceed to Masai Mara Game Reserve with a stopover at the Great Rift Valley view point for picture session (around 30mins). There after proceed to Narok Town which is Masai biggest town and is famous for the Masai people, we shall have lunch here and then proceed to Masai Mara. On arrival check in the Lenchada Tourist Camp/ similar then leave for the late afternoon game drive, return to the Camp for dinner and overnight.

The whole day is spent exploring the park’s amazingly high concentration of game. This game reserve is Kenya’s finest wildlife sanctuary, including migrants; well over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. Mara plains are filled with migrating wildebeest and zebra; there is also resident wildlife year round.
The Maras gentle fertile climate bounded by The Rift, offers perhaps the richest stocked reserve set within some 1672 sq. km – an unlimited spectacle of wildlife. Located 268 km west of Nairobi, the emphasis here is on game. Herds of immense Elephants, browse among Lion, Buffalo, Thompson Gazelle, Zebra and Topi. You may occasionally sight a Rhino or Leopard. In the Mara River Hippos play and Crocodiles bask on the banks. The annual migration of a million Wildebeest follows the rains north. Dinner and overnight at the Lenchada Tourist Camp.

Pre morning game drive as from 06:30hrs until 0830hrs, then return to the camp for the main breakfast, thereafter depart Masai Mara for Lake Nakuru with lunch at Mai Mahiu town. Later proceed on to Nakuru and arrive at the hotel early evening where you will settle and prepare for the next day. Dinner and overnight in Lanet Matfam Resort/similar.

After breakfast, proceed for an extensive morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park to see the many animals that inhabit this unique park. Lake Nakuru is known for its millions of flamingoes (sometimes they do migrate to other lakes) and other water birds. Leave Lake Nakuru National Park and proceed to Lake Naivasha, with lunch enroute. Dinner and overnight at Taphe Guest Resort.
On this day you can opt for a boat ride which is an extra activity payable direct.

After breakfast at around 0800hrs, drive into Hell’s Gate National Park where you can choose to explore the park either by just walking, cycling or drive, you will have a chance to walk in the most amazing gorges, including a visit to the devil’s bedroom. Hell’s gate is famous for it’s scary sceneries some of which were featured in Angelina Jolie’s Tomb Raider movie. You will also have a chance to see a variety of wildlife including giraffes, zebras, olive baboon, vervet monkey, buffaloes, warthogs, wildebeest among many others.

Thereafter depart Naivasha with a lunch stopover at Mai Mahiu town then proceed to Nairobi which marks the end of the safari with a drop off to the hotel.
